Meet Dr. Gorman
Dr. Patrick Gorman, D.C., C.C.E.P. is originally from York, Pennsylvania, where he grew up playing hockey and even pursued a tryout with the USA Junior Hockey League. Raised in a household that valued natural health, pursuing chiropractic care was a natural path that aligned with his passion for helping others. He is trained as a CCEP, an advanced certification that uniquely qualifies him to specialize on feet, knees, hands, hips, shoulders and elbows.
Early in his career, Dr. Gorman worked in a high-volume chiropractic setting where patient time was limited. That experience shaped his philosophy—he recognized the importance of spending meaningful time with patients and began to question the limitations insurance places on true health outcomes. This led him to build a practice centered on patient-focused, results-driven care rather than insurance-driven treatment.
After graduating from Life University in Georgia, Dr. Gorman moved to Ohio to be closer to family. He met his wife, Sommer, in Toledo, and together they established their practice in Lima. What began as a wellness-focused chiropractic office has grown into a comprehensive health center offering advanced therapies including spinal decompression, neurofeedback, shockwave therapy, and regenerative medicine. Through mentorship and collaboration with Dr. John Biery, the clinic expanded its medical services in 2016 to include therapies such as PRP, biologic treatments, hormone optimization, and more. No matter the treatment, Dr. Gorman walks the walk, he is committed to bringing in new technologies he personally needs and uses. The same treatments he recommends to patients to care for their conditions are the ones he would use on himself and his family.
Dr. Gorman is committed to continually advancing his knowledge and bringing the most effective, innovative therapies to Northwest Ohio. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys following local basketball, hockey, kayaking, bass fishing, and spending time with his wife and dogs, Charles Xavier and Gretzky.

A Different Approach
Dr. Zach Goecke, B.S., D.C. is a Spencerville, Ohio native and graduate of Spencerville High School. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Doctorate of Chiropractic, and is passionate about helping patients restore their health by supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and adapt.
At Independent Physical Medicine in Lima, Ohio, Dr. Goecke provides chiropractic care, advanced nutritional testing, and personalized weight management programs. With a background as a collegiate athlete, he understands firsthand how optimizing nervous system function can improve performance, recovery, and overall health. Outside the clinic, Dr. Goecke enjoys spending time with his wife, Emilee, a realtor with berkshire hathaway, his daughter, Everly, his family and friends, as well as hunting and college football (go bucks!).
